Got to go see Al in the recovery room. I was expecting to see the tanned healthy looking guy I saw in the recovery room after the transplant. This time he wasnt looking so hot. He had a swollen face, was shakey, and uncomfortable. Still slurring his speach. His nurse was kind of a cow, so I didnt stay long. He was looking like he needed to try to sleep it off some more. They will move him to the 10th floor, room 106 tomorrow. (which kind of sucks, as Leon can attest to- The 6th floor Renal Unit is where you want to be)
I am ready for bed! Good-night
I am so happy to read along and find both of you sharing this experience on the blog.
Al’s Reply,
Thanks, I’ve had a lot of people say similar things. I’m especially glad when others dealing with this personally stop by or leave comments. Sharing openly was the plan from the beginning as I had trouble finding “real life experiences ” when researching.
Take Care
AL
